The library is a very important part of the school. Students will learn to use it regularly. They will find many interesting books to read and will learn to use the reference materials.

1. All pupils in the school are entitled to use the library materials and to borrow library books.

2. Reference books, such as encyclopedias and dictionaries, must be checked out to the classroom only and are to be used only in the school building.

3. Other books may be checked out for one week for all grades. If a child fails to return the book on the due date, he/she will be fined Php5.00 per day. The money from these fines will be used to buy additional books.

4. Lost or damaged books:

  1. If a book is lost or so badly damaged that it cannot be repaired, the student must pay replacement value.
  2. If a book is defaced, the student will have the option to pay for a replacement (and the defaced book becomes theirs) or to pay a fine as set by the librarian.

5. The student is personally responsible for books checked out of the library, and they must not be loaned to others.

6. Only library personnel should re-shelve books used in the library and books returned to the library. All returned books must be placed on the library counter to be checked in by the librarian.

7. Courteous and thoughtful behavior is expected of young people in the library. We expect students to be quiet so that they and others can use it for serious research and study.
